{Event Recap} J. Simms Events Vision Board Party!
On Saturday, January 14th, I held my first signature event for 2017! I was inspired to host an event after first having a vision board party with friends the year prior. I saw the importance of writing down your goals and how having a visual picture of where you want to go is a major key to achieving success. I approached Black and White Look and asked if they were interested in being my event partner - and they gladly accepted!
From there, I developed the concept. I knew I wanted my guests to gain valuable information, have time to write their goals and create fun vision boards. I also knew that I wanted it to be FUN! I invited guest speakers who provided information on home buying, personal finances, fitness, entrepreneurship, love and relationships, and more!
The guests were able to have open conversations on their past year and goals for the future. Our event also featured a custom open bar, food, desserts, and music!
One of the best comments from a participant is that they didn't get an pictures because they didn't have their phone out (which is rare in the digital age)! I'm glad I was able to provide a fun space for my guests to prepare for the new year and I'm already looking forward to the next one!
