Holiday Party Guide: NYE Looks!
For my last edition of J. Simms' Holiday Party Guide, I've partnered again with makeup artist, Melanie Barner, to bring you two fab NYE looks! NYE is a night full of fun and festivity - and having the perfect look is a must! Check out the two looks below for your NYE party!
This go round I have two New Years Eve inspired looks for you! One for the minimalists out there and the other is for those who want full glam! Regardless of your makeup preference I encourage you to try both looks!

Starting with the eyes place a warm brown shade in the crease (something that's slightly deeper than your skin tone) and apply a champagne color on the center of the lid. For a more defined look, line the upper and lower lid with a black liner. Adding long wispy lashes will make this look fun and flirty.

To give lid look a slight kick, instead of using a classic red on the lip, I chose brighter more orange toned red for a pop. Keep the skin natural and add a bit of highlight for a glow. This is super easy to achieve and will probably be the shortest look that you've ever done!

Now onto the glam. I tried to step out of the box using colors that I don't normally pull for and I was happy with the outcome. This look was achieved applying the same warm brown shadow from the first look in the crease, a shimmery navy shadow as a base on the lid only, and layering a multicolored glitter on top. Adding a strong wing liner added extra flare to the look.

Again, keep the skin natural but dewy, as you want your eyes to be the main focus. Finishing off this lip with a nude matte lip and a shimmering gloss on top.
